Cody explains exactly how the food buying software works. Basically, farmers sign up on our site to offer their food to us. Co-Op members sign up on the site to become buyers.
Food available each week then is listed in a column on the left - on the main shopping page.
Members then can order food during a two day period of the week. The orders are then
grouped by the software and sent to the farmers. Later in the week, the farmers harvest and then deliver the foods. Members pick up foods right after they are delivered. A small percentage is added to the farmers price - which goes to our Co-Op. A few percent also paid to the software's creator.

This software is actually already installed on our site. You can take a look at it now under the Shop link on the top page. We already have several suppliers signed up and hope that more will soon sign up. Please talk to anyone you know who can supply foods that are pesticide-free. This system will be a great stepping-stone as we expand and offer new ways of getting beautiful radiant foods into Hot Springs. Remember that all of you are owners and contributors to this wonderful project. We will share the creative work and the benefits.
